Which centerpiece?

January 16th, 2011 Leave a comment Go to comments

I am debating on which centerpiece to use for my boat/beach theme wedding. It’s on a dining cruise ship. I’m looking for theme and originality. The colors are turquoise and maize. thanks!

I love the conch shell and flowers! I’ve never seen a centerpiece like that. The sand color of the shell goes so well with the pink and blue flowers. It would also work well with purple, pale yellow, white. (I didn’t like the yellow and red flower one)

I really like the blue vases / candle holders. This set up has a vintage feel and has enough elegance for a formal affair, but it’s subtle enough to be used at a casual affair. The blue glass also reminds me of water. This is my second favorite.

My third choice is the last one, the tall ivory candle surrounded by sand colored shells. I really love candles and shells. I can do without the messy sand though. I like the neutral colors too.

I didn’t really like any of the other centerpieces. I don’t like the idea of sand on tables. Unless it’s a really small amount or that moldable sand that stays where it’s suppose to be.

I would choose which ever centerpiece goes best with your color scheme (too much matching? Not enough matching? neutral? Accent colors?).

I love the last one, the one with the candle that has the shells on it. If you dont use that one i like the 1st one but i dont like the rest, they kinda look cheap. I dont like the tall ones because then you can’t see arcoss the table. Cute theme by the way!

I really like the last one. It looks classy. The 2nd to last is really cool looking too. Good luck!

the last one is really pretty and romantic. the candle is more "dining" to me. the floral arrangements don’t seem "beachy" enough. congrats and good luck!

I like the second from the top, love the conch shell that is part of the arrangement. Hope your boat-themed wedding does not turn out to be a sinker.

I agree. The first one and the last one.

The first one’s bright colors will go well with the turquoise.
The last one is also beautiful; it seems a little more formal.

This third one of the first group is my favorite (the wide bowl with the shells and flora), and the one with the candle in the second grouping is a close runner-up.

I think the beach theme for a cruise wedding is such a cute idea. One thing to think about, some venues won’t let you have candles (mine wouldn’t) – something you might want to verify before picking one with candles!

I like the blue glass one. I think witha ton of candles it would be really beachy and classy.
