can the dress be matched with the wedding theme like beach and color relating to the beach venue..

i want to have something where guest can put money if they like i know some people do bird cages, and some do money trees well neither go with my wedding theme, i am having a beach themed wedding with sand and shells and ideas on what to do?
i dotn want to do the money dance and it isnt tacky, i am not askign for money i am just saying alot of people would either give money i was just trying to think of a place they can put it like there cards.

I am looking for flower suggestions for an Oasis blue wedding theme. I am not at a beach so not trying to be tropical, just elegant/ modern and contemporary. I was thinking all Lillies, white roses or Phalaenopsis Orchid (but didnt know if that was too tropical). Any suggestions?? THANKS

My wedding theme is seashells and I am looking for a quote about the beach, river, or seashells to add to the cover of my program. I used the following quote for my invitations:

I want something like this, but I don’t want to use the same thing…Please help.

So my wedding color scheme is a light tiffany blue, and white. I am having a August 2010 wedding, so it can’t be a winter wonderland theme. Also it has nothing to do with the beach or ocean or sea, so it will not be a water theme either. The decorations at the wedding include a white rose center piece, white rose petals all over the reception, and aqua and clear fake diamonds. Very romantic, clear and clean, and glamourous.

If you can think of a wedding theme name for the wedding I just described, then please let me know!
Oh no I don’t want an extra "theme." Sorry if my question was a little confusing. I just wanted a theme "name" that describes my wedding colors and look I have already picked out.

I have a dilemma with the wedding theme and color.

Option #1: Orange: My fiance’s absolute favorite color is orange and I know that he would be elated if it was the theme color for the wedding. It would go perfect since he has a Classic Oldsmobile that’s orange and my favorite flowers are tigerlillies. The problem that I see with it is the bridesmaids dress. I’m not sure how my sister and best friend (bridesmaids) would feel dressing in orange. I considered using black but ruled it out because it reminded my of halloween. The only problem is I’m not sure what other colors would still keep the theme. I haven’t mentioned it to them so I don’t know how they would feel about it. They have the ability to pick any style dress as long as it fits the color requirements -is that enough?

Option #2: I was considering a ‘beach’ theme. Not tacky like wearing flip flops but the colors would be light blue and there would be small ‘ocean’ decorations to accent.

I haven’t commited to either and I’m open to any new suggestions. My other concern is: We’re the last of our friends and family to get married and a lot of the colors that I liked have been used already by sisters and everyone. I don’t want to feel like I’m copying. Does anyone else have any experience with picking similiar colors?

Ok, I’m getting married on Aug 29th, 2008 & am just starting on planning my wedding. But I need a wedding theme. So far this is what I got: My dress (if you want to see it look at the question I asked right b4 this one. I haven’t bought it yet, but am going in the morning), my colors are chocolate brown and different shades of pink. My flowers are pink & white oriental lilies. No I don’t want an oriental theme lol. I don’t want a beach theme either. But my mind is at a blank. Thanks! =)

I need some ideas for inexpensive favors- I was thinking of doing the hershey bar favors with personalized labels, but they really end up expensive after doing them.

Hmmm, gold fish in bowls is extremely different. It is a little "too different" I want something my guests can keep forever as a keepsake:):)
Plus what if the goldfish dies before I can give them to the guests???
I did message in a bottle invitations, so I don’t want to do anything with sand in a bottle for the favors!!!
