Beach Wedding Cake Toppers

The base and bride & groom are plastic and it has fabric flowers surrounding the brige and groom. Not sure of the type of fabric. It was my mother’s and my daughter would like to use it on her wedding cake.

We are having a beach wedding and our reception is to be followed at a hotel..

It is going to be a small wedding about 50/60 people.

Our reception is going to be "beached themed" buffet style dinner.. It is going to be more of an elegant beach wedding then a luau type.

We are fun loving and want the reception to be a Big Bash but want to stick to theme as well.

Does anyone have any idea’s on what we could get to make our time even better?

Example: I thought all white leis or seashell leis for all guests might be fun. * Once the drinks and party really starts, of course *

Also a lot of our wedding stuff is made with seashells, so any seashell idea’s would be Perfect!

Any ideas will be greatly appreciated!

Does anyone have any more idea’s for decorations during "Party Time".

My future hubby wants to have the big sunglasses, hula skirt, etc..

I think that is a bit overboard! I want to be fun and have the party of our lives but I don’t want to make it look cheap neither with the plastic grass skirts! *laughs*

I was thinking of having a limbo poll ( for late hours ) and decorate it ivory organza and white hibiscus flowers.

No I am not getting married…but definitely will within a couple of years. My boyfriend and I are already planning on it. We just don’t have money and need to graduate (we both graduate next year). What colors would go well with each wedding? I am very tomboy, he likes that about me, we don’t like any really fancy colors or anything really elegant. I will pay no more than 0 for a wedding dress and most likely wear sandals or maybe just go in bare feet.

Would it work for a beach theme wedding?

I’ve seen many where the bride has the groom on ball & chain, and where she’s holding onto him by the shoulders, etc…I need somthing like that but reverse…where the groom is holding on to the bride. And if it is an "ethnic" (black) couple that’s even better. If you know of an exact site that would have this or where I could get it made let me know please. I’ve looked at many sites and the only things I found where what i listed above.

I can’t decide which theme I like better.. please tell me which of these 2 you think sounds nicer. If you have any additional suggestions feel free to let me know! I need help with table/room decorations, wedding cake ideas, invitations, etc!

- colours: Yellow & White

Stars/Wildflowers
- colours: White & Gold/Silver (which is nicer, gold or silver?) with wildflower bouquets

I also like the idea of a beach theme, but I think it’s overdone…

Ok, I’m getting married on Aug 29th, 2008 & am just starting on planning my wedding. But I need a wedding theme. So far this is what I got: My dress (if you want to see it look at the question I asked right b4 this one. I haven’t bought it yet, but am going in the morning), my colors are chocolate brown and different shades of pink. My flowers are pink & white oriental lilies. No I don’t want an oriental theme lol. I don’t want a beach theme either. But my mind is at a blank. Thanks! =)
Oh and hopefully (weather permitting) my wedding is going to be outdoors.

For those of you who don’t know, we’re having a beach theme wedding next June. I have already ordered the invitations, RSVP cards, "Save the Date" postcards and I’m about to order the "thank you" cards. Do they all have to match?

Only the invitations and RSVP cards look the same.

We have a silly sense of humor and decided to use 2 kids (boy & girl) walking to the beach hand-in-hand for the pic on our "Save the Date" cards. It matched our personalities perfectly.

I’m getting married in November and I’m looking for the perfect wedding cake topper…It has to be something comical….and NO tuxedo…cause it’s an outside wedding & the Groom is shorter than me….any ideas? websites?
